{"id":101765,"date":"2024-09-04T10:27:43","date_gmt":"2024-09-04T08:27:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/monumenti\/pietro-casu-exhibition\/"},"modified":"2024-09-04T10:28:55","modified_gmt":"2024-09-04T08:28:55","slug":"pietro-casu-exhibition","status":"publish","type":"monumento","link":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/monumenti\/pietro-casu-exhibition\/","title":{"rendered":"Pietro Casu Exhibition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Pietro Casu was born in Berchidda on April 13, 1878.\nHe became parish priest of Oschiri and then Berchidda, where he remained until his death on Jan. 20, 1954.\nHe was a theologian, philosopher, writer and taught letters at the seminaries of Ozieri and Sassari.\nHe was certainly one of the most important figures of early 20th-century Sardinia.\nHe was a profound connoisseur and lover of the Sardinian language, which he often used even in official speeches and in his sermons; sermons that had a great effect on the faithful both because of his excellent use of the Sardinian language and because of the &#8220;classical&#8221; quotations he used to make and which were collected and published in 1979 in the volume &#8220;Preigas.&#8221;\nHe also wrote several poems and novels in Italian, such as &#8220;Aurora Sarda,&#8221; &#8220;La Voragine,&#8221; &#8220;Notte Sarda&#8221; considered his masterpiece, &#8220;Ghermita al core.&#8221;\nPietro Casu has studied and researched Sardinian Logudorese, producing a manuscript work of over a thousand sheets, printed in 2002, the &#8220;Sardinian Logudorese-Italian Vocabulary.&#8221;\nHe also translated Italian and foreign poems into Sardinian and edited the Sarda Logudorese translation of the Divina Commedia, published in 1929 under the title &#8220;Sa Divina Cumedia de Dante in limba salda.&#8221;\nIn his honor, the Poetry Prize named after him has been held every two years for more than 20 years, thanks to the &#8220;Eredi Pietro Casu&#8221; Association and in collaboration with the Municipality of Berchidda, and is open to all poets who can participate with elaborate works in Sardinian in its different variants.        <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":17,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"COMUNE":[],"note":[],"indirizzo":[],"accessibilita_mezzi":[],"coordinates":[],"images":[],"adesioni":[],"footnotes":""},"monumento_tipologia":[676],"accessibilita":[],"accessibilita_mezzi":[],"class_list":["post-101765","monumento","type-monumento","status-publish","hentry","monumento_tipologia-museo-en"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumenti\/101765","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumenti"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/monumento"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/17"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumenti\/101765\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":101766,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumenti\/101765\/revisions\/101766"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=101765"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"monumento_tipologia","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumento_tipologia?post=101765"},{"taxonomy":"accessibilita","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/accessibilita?post=101765"},{"taxonomy":"accessibilita_mezzi","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/accessibilita_mezzi?post=101765"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
