This complex, where the presence of man dates back to prehistoric times, is known for a number of Domus de janas and what is improperly called an \u201caltar.\u201d <br\/>It consists of a granite rock wall with geometric niches, mostly triangular and quadrangular, carved in as yet unascertained times. The function of the altar remains uncertain due to the lack of systematic archaeological investigations. The area is named after the church of St. Stephen, dating back to 1492, located in front of the altar.
