The structure consists of three distinct buildings. The first building consists of the former manor house of the illustrious Cardia-Mesina family (extinct for more than 30 years). The elegant building dates back to 1980 but was radically expanded and renovated in the 1920s with Art Nouveau frescoes. The second building, facing Arginamento Street, was built by the Brothers of the Christian Schools for the educational activities of the Lasallian boarding school, a reference point in the 1960s for many boys from the whole of Sardinia. Subsequently it was for a long time home to the state middle school. The third block consists of three halls: the theater, a laboratory room and a recreation room.
