{"id":111188,"date":"2026-02-19T11:17:42","date_gmt":"2026-02-19T09:17:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/monumenti\/la-gualchiera\/"},"modified":"2026-02-19T11:17:49","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T09:17:49","slug":"la-gualchiera","status":"publish","type":"monumento","link":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/monumenti\/la-gualchiera\/","title":{"rendered":"La Gualchiera"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The only example of industrial archaeology at the national level (still in good condition and in working order), the gualchiera, built in the 19th century and located in the vicinity of the Torrei stream, had the function of allowing the processing of orbace, a typical Sardinian cloth made of sheep&#8217;s wool used for the making of Sardinian costumes and for shepherds&#8217; clothing.
