{"id":90292,"date":"2023-12-19T11:51:09","date_gmt":"2023-12-19T09:51:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/monumenti\/pittau-house\/"},"modified":"2024-08-23T12:41:26","modified_gmt":"2024-08-23T10:41:26","slug":"pittau-house","status":"publish","type":"monumento","link":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/monumenti\/pittau-house\/","title":{"rendered":"Pittau House"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Casa Pittau includes all the typical architectural elements of Middle Campidano houses and for this reason it has been included in the General Catalog of Cultural Heritage of the Region of Sardinia.  <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The house was built in the late 1700s and early 1800s and, inside, has two buildings.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main building is in front of the entrance gate and being elevated is reached by a characteristic stone staircase. The large loggia that the house overlooks is supported by four columns with wooden lintels.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The walls of the loggia reveal ancient frescoes from the 1900s, still visible today, by a famous local painter, Guglielmo Concu.  <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Initially created to create a shaded area, given the very hot summer weather, it became over time a kind of living room for conversation and work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second housing structure, built on two levels above ground and about 5 meters high at the eaves, appears as a room where time has stopped in the middle of the last century: every room and building material appears authentically placed in that period.
