{"id":90299,"date":"2024-04-10T15:25:10","date_gmt":"2024-04-10T13:25:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/monumenti\/winery-of-casa-fois\/"},"modified":"2025-04-24T11:42:13","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T09:42:13","slug":"winery-of-casa-fois","status":"publish","type":"monumento","link":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/monumenti\/winery-of-casa-fois\/","title":{"rendered":"Winery of Casa Fois"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Casa Fois winery is located in the historic center of Quartu, in the Cepola district, in one of the Campidanese houses from the early 19th century, originally owned by a noble family and later purchased by an ancestor of the family.<\/p>\n<p>In the house, still inhabited by the Fois family, one can still distinguish the haystack, the stable (lollas<em>de is bois<\/em>) and the granary<em>(su susu de su lori<\/em>), which constitute the oldest rooms of the dwelling, now used as rooms for winemaking and wine sales.<\/p>\n<p>Since the early twentieth century, with its first owner, the family has carried on the rural business, refining and expanding the wine business in particular. In 1994, the agricultural society &#8220;Villa di Quartu&#8221; was established.
