Its construction was made possible thanks to the Ozierese nobleman Don Francesco dell&#8217;Arca, who donated a vineyard and substantial financial aid to the friars. A few years later, in 1602, the adjoining convent also arose.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The complex remained active until the 19th century, when in 1868 the convent building was converted into a hospital, a function it still retains today.
