The part facing central Eligio Porcu Street was the &#8220;working&#8221; entrance for the wagons that transported agricultural products to the grain, flour, and wine warehouses for further processing. It was originally connected to St. Helen&#8217;s Square, and thus to the main house, through the archway (now walled up) visible on the wall at the end of the courtyard.
