{"id":91202,"date":"2023-12-19T11:50:35","date_gmt":"2023-12-19T09:50:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/monumenti\/church-of-st-julian\/"},"modified":"2024-09-13T11:57:56","modified_gmt":"2024-09-13T09:57:56","slug":"church-of-st-julian","status":"publish","type":"monumento","link":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/monumenti\/church-of-st-julian\/","title":{"rendered":"Monumental Complex of San Giuliano"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The church of St. Julian&#8217;s was built around the 12th century, has three naves and is made with columns and capitals of perusal from ancient Roman buildings.<br \/>\nThe loggia was built in the early 1600s, again using perusal materials.<br \/>\nInside we can see a processional crucifix and a statue of Our Lady of the Rosary, both from the second half of the 1500s, a 19th-century equestrian statue of St. Julian and, hanging in the left aisle, the silver insignia of the Confraternity from the second half of the 1700s.<br \/>\nOn the walls in some places are pictorial depictions dating back to the 1300s depicting hunting scenes.<br \/>\nDuring the Antico Sposalizio Selargino the rite of the promise of the bride and groom takes place.<br \/>\nAdjacent to the church is Casa Collu, an old Campidanese house, where the ground floor houses a permanent exhibition on the Ancient Selargino Wedding, while the second floor houses the headquarters of the Confraternity of the Most Holy Virgin of the Rosary.<br \/>\nNoteworthy is the large painting made by Florentine painter Michele Medici in 1785 that depicts the Virgin of the Rosary and was previously located in the church of San Giuliano.      <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":12,"featured_media":82615,"template":"","meta":{"COMUNE":[],"note":[],"indirizzo":[],"accessibilita_mezzi":[],"coordinates":[],"images":[],"adesioni":[],"footnotes":""},"monumento_tipologia":[679,691],"accessibilita":[],"accessibilita_mezzi":[],"class_list":["post-91202","monumento","type-monumento","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","monumento_tipologia-chiesa-en","monumento_tipologia-religione-e-culto-en"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumenti\/91202","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumenti"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/monumento"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/12"}],"version-history":[{"count":3,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumenti\/91202\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":102524,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumenti\/91202\/revisions\/102524"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/82615"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=91202"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"monumento_tipologia","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumento_tipologia?post=91202"},{"taxonomy":"accessibilita","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/accessibilita?post=91202"},{"taxonomy":"accessibilita_mezzi","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/accessibilita_mezzi?post=91202"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
