The Crypt is divided into fifteen crosses, resting on ten columns and twelve pillars protruding from the perimeter walls. The Crypt was a burial place for nobles. Set on the east wall of the crypt is a tomb slab from 1386 that encloses the remains of giovinazzese nobleman Antonio Sindolfi.
