{"id":91817,"date":"2023-12-19T11:52:48","date_gmt":"2023-12-19T09:52:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/monumenti\/church-of-st-mark\/"},"modified":"2024-09-10T10:39:34","modified_gmt":"2024-09-10T08:39:34","slug":"church-of-st-mark","status":"publish","type":"monumento","link":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/monumenti\/church-of-st-mark\/","title":{"rendered":"Church of St. Mark"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The country church of St. Mark is adjacent to the Nuraghe San Marco and the urban park.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The date of construction is unknown, presumably around the 16th century.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It consists of a single nave and outside is surrounded by centuries-old olive trees.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Holy Masses are celebrated in the small country church on the occasion of the festivities of St. Mark the Evangelist, to whom the people of Genures are particularly devoted, which take place on April 25.
