Even today, the clearing in front of the former Ingurtosu commissary is referred to by the toponym &#8220;Cantina Square.&#8221; Various buildings then sprang up here including the post office (formerly Pozzo Ingurtosu), bakery, commissary, butcher store, and barracks. The square is overlooked by the imposing Management Building.
