{"id":92047,"date":"2023-12-19T11:52:09","date_gmt":"2023-12-19T09:52:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/monumenti\/church-of-saints-philip-and-james\/"},"modified":"2024-08-22T11:33:58","modified_gmt":"2024-08-22T09:33:58","slug":"church-of-saints-philip-and-james","status":"publish","type":"monumento","link":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/monumenti\/church-of-saints-philip-and-james\/","title":{"rendered":"Church of Saints Philip and James"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It stands on a hump raised about a meter above Via San Dionigi, not far from the important road axis that, touching Laus Pompeia, connected <em>Mediolanum <\/em>to<em> Piacentia<\/em> in Roman times, linking to the <em>Via Aemilia<\/em>.<br \/>\nBuilt during the 13th century, it preserves evidence of the existence of a Christian community in Nocetum since ancient times, as attested by some late antique finds unearthed by recent excavations and a marble funerary inscription from 536 AD.
