L\u2019edificio serve per la logistica delle merci che transitano sul Po verso la citt\u00e0 e viene progettato e costruito tra il 1940 e il 1941 con un linguaggio razionalista che, pur semplificando le linee compositive rispetto ai secoli precedenti, \u00e8 comunque uno stile attento all\u2019impaginato complessivo e ai dettagli costruttivi.<\/p>\n

L\u2019edificio ha subito lunghi anni di abbandono, come tutta la darsena.
