In the late 1980s, ENI Risorse planned to use the large excavation for the construction of a landfill for the controlled storage of waste from lead and zinc metallurgical processes.  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The museum features twenty large panels illustrating the most important epochs in 540 million years that have shaped the History of Sardinia.
