Its primary purpose is to revive the woodcut art, which was started in Iglesias in 1926 by Remo Branca, a talented engraver, painter and writer, through the establishment of the School of Decorative Art at the Liceo Scientifico d&#8217;Iglesias, where Branca held the positions of secretary, teacher and finally principal.
