Olive and extra virgin olive oil production are the backbone of the country&#8217;s economy and gastronomic culture. For this reason, a visit to historic oil mills is definitely recommended, such as the Sogus Oil Mill, located on Cagliari Street, which was active from 1960 to 2001.<\/p>\n<p>Inside you can visit an exhibition dedicated to the &#8220;Giacomo Puccini&#8221; marching band, one of the longest-running on the Island (1880), full of antique musical instruments and historical material.
