But the river has also been a source of risk and danger, frustrating toil, damage and bereavement, thus the last floods of 1933-1951-1971. Until decades ago, the river was also <em>alive<\/em> with craft stores and the custom of washing clothes in the running water along its edges, looking for the best <em>&#8220;corropusu,&#8221; <\/em>especially for<em> &#8220;sa lissia&#8221; <\/em>with specificitydel laundry from the bride&#8217;s trousseau.
