{"id":93479,"date":"2023-12-19T11:49:47","date_gmt":"2023-12-19T09:49:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/monumenti\/church-of-st-anatolia-2\/"},"modified":"2024-09-10T14:12:59","modified_gmt":"2024-09-10T12:12:59","slug":"church-of-st-anatolia-2","status":"publish","type":"monumento","link":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/monumenti\/church-of-st-anatolia-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Church of St. Anatolia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"LEFT\">In the second half of the 1800s it is known that there were two country churches in the town of Telti, located a short distance from each other and dedicated to Saints Victoria and Anatolia.<br \/>\nIt is unknown when and how the cult was introduced, but it is assumed during the Byzantine period.<br \/>\nToday no trace remains of the church of St. Anatolia.<br \/>\nIt would date back to the second half of the 18th century, known a restoration started in 1936 and finished in 1939, the solemn blessing mass was celebrated on March 26 of the same year.<br \/>\nLetters from the Curia indicate that during World War II the church was banned from worship because it was occupied by the military; only after it was cleaned up and restored to a dignified state was it reconciled by the pastor and reopened for worship.<br \/>\nIn the 1980s the building showed signs of deterioration, and while funds were sought to provide for its rehabilitation, in the winter of 1984, a heavy snowfall caused the collapse of the perimeter walls, consisting of granite cantons joined together with mud mortar.<br \/>\nFor this fact there was much melancholy in the village over the loss of the little church that had cost our ancestors so much effort; the cult of the saint, venerated together with St. Victoria on the first weekend in May, remains.      <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":12,"featured_media":59234,"template":"","meta":{"COMUNE":[],"note":[],"indirizzo":[],"accessibilita_mezzi":[],"coordinates":[],"images":[],"adesioni":[],"footnotes":""},"monumento_tipologia":[679,691],"accessibilita":[],"accessibilita_mezzi":[],"class_list":["post-93479","monumento","type-monumento","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","monumento_tipologia-chiesa-en","monumento_tipologia-religione-e-culto-en"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumenti\/93479","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumenti"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/monumento"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/12"}],"version-history":[{"count":4,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumenti\/93479\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":99365,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumenti\/93479\/revisions\/99365"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/59234"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=93479"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"monumento_tipologia","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/monumento_tipologia?post=93479"},{"taxonomy":"accessibilita","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/accessibilita?post=93479"},{"taxonomy":"accessibilita_mezzi","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/monumentiaperti.com\/it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/accessibilita_mezzi?post=93479"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
