It represents one of the best-known &#8220;heels&#8221; in Sardinia with its maximum elevation of 975 meters above sea level.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The heel structure has a width of 50 to 70 meters, and a relative height of about 24 meters, with vertical sheer walls.<\/p>\n\n<p>The shape of this natural monument is easily identifiable from the valley of Aritzo, emerging solitary from the forest that grows luxuriantly in the area.<br\/>From an archaeological point of view, the area has returned evidence from the Neolithic, Nuragic and Roman periods. Of particular interest was the discovery of nuragic artifacts including a navicella.<br\/>SCI area is a nature oasis where there are hiking trails and a small equipped area.
