By bishop&#8217;s decree of July 1, 1957, the new parish was named after &#8220;St. Therese of the Child Jesus&#8221;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, while the<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  church was built between 1966 and 1968. Inside the church, above the altar, there is a huge painting by a Sangavino artist depicting St. Theresa. At the bottom, in relief, is an imposing crucifix with two angels. On the right, a statue of Our Lady of Sorrows stands out against the gray background of the stone walls. In the chapels: on the left are statues of Our Lady of Lourdes, Immaculate Conception, and Sacred Heart; on the right are statues of St. Joseph, St. Teresa, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and Our Lady of Loreto.
