Very important archaeological excavations date human presence at the site to about 8,000 years ago. Located just 5 minutes from the Well Temple of Orri, the Punic-Roman city of Neapolis, and the Spanish Towers of Torre Vecchia di Marcedd\u00ec and Torre Nuova di Capo Frasca.
