It tells of shoals of fish following the currents of the Mediterranean, of sea crews awaiting their arrival, and of a system of nets intercepting their passage. Describes the traditional tuna fishing method practiced in the Gulf of Asinara until the last century. It treats the lives of the men who caught and processed tuna with hard work and tenacity. It encapsulates the identity of an entire town, Stintino, whose history is closely linked to that of the Tonnara Saline.
