A history more than two decades long. Since 1997, Monumenti A <\/em>perti has made great strides: from its beginnings, when the event was a reality localized to the Sardinian capital, Monumenti Aperti<\/em> has become a recognized brand throughout the island, as to date there are more than 120 Sardinian municipalities that have joined the circuit of the event at least once; for the past three years the event has also landed on the mainland in some Piedmontese municipalities, and this year the Municipality of Ferrara also joins the network of the XXI edition for the first time.<\/p>\n

There is so much to say, there is so much to write, there is so much to analyze, and there is so much to wonder about. Many university students, professors and scholars have become passionate and interested in the history of Open Monuments<\/em>, and because of this, many theses were born and many studies were conducted.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

A few years ago there was a consideration of the “Monuments Open to All – Barrier-Free Culture” initiative, whose goal is to make monuments accessible to citizens with temporary and permanent disabilities.<\/p>\n

\n EXPERIENCE MANAGEMENT FOR DESIGNING SUSTAINABLE AND ACCESSIBLE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT: A GOOD PRACTICE OF PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP <\/a><\/p>\n

<\/strong>
\n<\/span>The results should contribute to the debate on the potential contributions of tourism and cultural experience by suggesting how to properly use culture to challenge social change. This study presents a Sardinian success case worthy of replication and emulation everywhere and is an important example of public-private governance. This paper offers simple but important proposals to destination organizations that want to implement sustainable, accessible and inclusive development processes. However, the research can only partially capture the complexity of the problem and is not applicable to every reality.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

MuralArt: proposal for an app for the enhancement of muralism in Sardinia.<\/i><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Under the supervision of Prof. Fabio Pinna of the Department of History, Cultural Heritage and Territory of the University of Cagliari, student Alberto Schirru wanted to propose in his thesis, a tool for communicating the contents and keys to interpreting works of art that are far from institutional museum contexts and experts in the field. Thus he hypothesized the idea of the project “MuralArt” a proposal that aims at better communication between the artwork and the user, presenting itself as a real digital tour guide, which gives narrative voice to the artist. The purpose of the project is not only to enhance the area and encourage tourism, but also to protect and preserve the murals.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Study of the historical and cultural landscape of the Marganai Forest<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

This is the title of the study developed under the supervision of Prof. Raffaella Lovreglio of the Department of Agriculture at the University of Sassari.<\/i> The recent restoration of coppice use of holm oak in Marganai is an emblematic case study comparing the environmental sustainability of state forest planning, and cultural and landscape sustainability. The overall objective of the study was to provide a cognitive framework considering changes in the landscape with the need for wood production, historical context, socio-economic sensitivity and the multifunctionality of the forest. Today as never before, land management and in particular forest systems must take into account the connections that exist between ecological, social and cultural components at multiple scales.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the title of the study developed under the supervision of Prof. Francesca Cabiddu of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Cagliari. <\/i>Drawing on the theoretical assumptions behind Service Dominant logic, the research, after a systematic analysis of the literature on models for measuring value co-creation, defines a specific model to be applied in the context of Cultural Heritage governance of a territory. The model was tested on the Open Monuments case.<\/span><\/p>\n

MuralArt: proposal for an app for the enhancement of muralism in Sardinia.<\/i><\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Under the supervision of Prof. Fabio Pinna of the Department of History, Cultural Heritage and Territory at the University of Cagliari, student Alberto Schirru wanted to propose in his thesis, a tool for communicating the contents and keys to interpreting works of art that are far from institutional museum contexts and experts in the field. Thus he hypothesized the idea of the project \"MuralArt\" a proposal that aims at better communication between the artwork and the user, presenting itself as a real digital tour guide, which gives narrative voice to the artist. The purpose of the project is not only to enhance the area and encourage tourism, but also to protect and preserve the murals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Study of the historical and cultural landscape of the Marganai Forest<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This is the title of the study developed under the supervision of Prof. Raffaella Lovreglio of the Department of Agriculture at the University of Sassari.<\/i> The recent restoration of coppice use of holm oak in Marganai is an emblematic case study comparing the environmental sustainability of state forest planning, and cultural and landscape sustainability. The overall objective of the study was to provide a cognitive framework considering changes in the landscape with the need for wood production, historical context, socio-economic sensitivity and the multifunctionality of the forest. Today as never before, land management and in particular forest systems must take into account the connections that exist between ecological, social and cultural components at multiple scales.<\/span><\/p>\n
