Il Palazzo delle Palestre \u00e8 stato inaugurato nel 1956 ed \u00e8 un edificio che, nonostante la mole, si inquadra nel contesto, soprattutto perch\u00e9 circondato di vegetazione e percorsi ciclo-pedonali.
\nL\u2019importanza dell\u2019edificio non \u00e8 tanto quella architettonica quanto quella delle tante attivit\u00e0 che mette in moto e del numero di persone che sono coinvolte.
\nSono numerose le attivit\u00e0 sportive che vi si praticano e vi si insegnano, tra cui lotta, judo, karate e pugilato. Il palazzetto ospita inoltre tornei di molti sport di squadra e non, con un bacino di utenza specialmente giovanile.
\nIl Pala Palestre \u00e8 intitolato dal 2005 a Padre John Caneparo, gesuita e fondatore della societ\u00e0 di basket 4 Torri.
