Church of Saint Victoria

The church, built on another medieval building, dates back to the 17th century and has undergone numerous renovations. The hall is furnished with a precious altar that serves as a counterpoint to a simple gabled facade with an architraved portal surmounted by an archway and rose window. From 1720 to 1774 the Jesuit Fathers officiated in the church, which opened a college and school. Of their presence, the wooden statue of Francis Xavier remains. The interior houses the richly adorned simulacrum of the Sleeping Virgin, Our Lady of Ferragosto, and that of Santa Maria di Cunzadu, from the church of the same name, now in a state of ruins.
