Monumenti aperti is the most important festival in Sardinia dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of cultural heritage, which since 2006 has received a Medal from the President of the Republic as a Representative Award and since 2013 the Patronage of the Presidency of the Chamber of Deputies, the Senate, MIM and MIC.

Monumenti Aperti is today an articulated cultural project that has evolved into a scalable, replicable and surely successful model of territorial development that was awarded in June 2018 with the important European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage | Europa Nostra Awards on the occasion of the first European Cultural Heritage Summit precisely in the year dedicated to cultural heritage.
