The building, located at 56 V. Emanuele St., was erected in the early 1900s. It had a slatted gate entrance, sandwiched between two rooms used for storage. The roofing of the two rooms was ina wooden beams, tarped and with Sardinian roof tiles. From the front courtyard in basalt dia paving there was access, through “sa lolla,” to the dwelling arranged on two levels and rear courtyard wing. Born as a single-family building, it became a two-family house in 1929. Restored to single-family in 1963, the Sardinian tile roofing was replaced with fiber cement slabs and the gate with a wooden portal with concrete lintel.
