With the suppression of the Society of Jesus (1774), the religious abandoned the church and college; the latter, in 1808, was donated by King Victor Emmanuel I to the bishop of Iglesias, who installed the diocesan seminary there; it remained in that location until 1969. Today the building houses the Liceo Artistico, keeping intact all the charm of a place where history meets the climate of art and culture.
