The palace is located in the historic center of Luras and rises four stories, plus an upper loggia punctuated by square-section columns. Dating from the last years of the 19th century, it has undergone the influences of the Art Nouveau style found in the stylistic features of the main facade, made of masonry with plastered granite. The fine workmanship in classical style makes this palace, built and inhabited throughout the 1900s by the Tamponi-Perantoni family-one of the town’s upper middle class families-one of the most admired buildings in Luras.
During the visit, inside the rooms that house both permanent and temporary exhibitions, one can admire painted ceilings, finely decorated period floors and, on the top floor, a covered terrace that offers a splendid view of the town of Luras, the mountains and the surrounding villages.
