‘Vestigia‘ – Laboratory of Didactics and Communication of the University of Cagliari with its Thirty Feet of Monuments, now in its tenth edition, this year takes up the challenge of accompanying its passengers to discover places rarely interpreted as cultural destinations. The Municipality of Pirri, although sacrificed to Cagliari’s urban expansion, still maintains many aspects of autonomous life, which connote it in an original way as a true ‘village within the city’. Amidst earthen houses and traditional knowledge, Trentapiedi will lead you to discover what is still alive in the experiences of this ancient center of Campidano, in a festive cultural journey in stages lasting about an hour, built by students, researchers and professors of the University of Cagliari in dialogue with the local community.
Route
With its pedestrian convoy, equipped with a train conductor and human locomotive, the Trentapiedi will depart at regular intervals from the terminus in Piazza Italia, reaching the Is Bingias Market, the Vetreria Park, the Portici, the Saddi House, the Saddi-Grippo House, the Municipality building, and the Church of St. Peter.
