Landscapes seen from the sea

At the headquarters of the Buccari-Marconi Nautical Institute, students will illustrate, through photographic, historical and documentary materials, the historical evolution of the Port of Cagliari up to its current modern configuration: industrial, commercial and tourist. Contextually, they will offer an example of the evolution of the system of Watch Towers present in the Gulf of Angels: the Calamosca or Signal Tower, which from an observation point to prevent enemy attacks has been transformed, inside, into a modern technological site for air-naval traffic control. Afterwards, visitors can enjoy guided tours of the harbor, aboard the Su’Entu school boat, and, on foot, of the Calamosca or Signals Tower, with an easy guided hike.
