Vestigia, Laboratory of Didactics and Communication of the University of Cagliari proposes with its Thirty Feet of Monuments the discovery of an area that has changed its appearance several times in the history of the city and that combines the memory of the burial places of the Roman Karales, to monuments of faith and medieval culture, to the ever-changing spaces of modernity.
The Trentapiedi, a pedestrian convoy equipped with a train conductor and human locomotive, will depart at regular intervals from the terminus in the square of the basilica of San Saturnino and take passengers on a 50-minute circuit in stages that will reach the Ex-convent San Lucifero, the Carabinieri Legion and Gramsci Square, Remembrance Park and EXMA, the State Archives and the Workers’ Society building, and finally to the Doglio Palace.
