Itinerary Landscape transformations between Cagliari and Monserrato

The objective of the itinerary is to illustrate the urban-landscape transformations of the area between the Monserrato social winery and the former airport. From being an uncultivated and marshy area, on the border between the Municipality of Cagliari and those of the hinterland, it has become, at present, a portion of the territory of the Vast Area, on which various types of public and private buildings insist.

During the days of the event, visitors will be welcomed at the pedestrian entrance on Via C. Cabras and, after the presentation of the works, concerning the former airport, the Semida project, carried out by the students of the course Costruzioni Ambiente e Territorio and the project Abitare Mediterraneo- Laboratorio di terre crude, they will be accompanied in the gardens of the School towards the bunker, and then continue with a visit to the Museum of Science and Technology, set up in the premises of the institute. Students from the Teulada Associate Branch, will illustrate work entitled Cesare Cabras: the landscape between Teulada and Monserrato.
