Rome City Hall V is an administrative subdivision of the City of Rome that was created by the amalgamation of City Halls VI and VII.
It is an area of very high population density with 9,135 inh./Kmq, the second highest density in Rome, and is formed by historical neighborhoods such as Pigneto, Prenestino, Tor Pignattara, Quadraro, Villa Gordiani, Collatino, Centocelle, Alessandrino, Quarticciolo, and neighborhoods that have sprung up since the 1960s/70s, such as Casilino 23, Tor Tre Teste and Tor Sapienza.
From the cultural point of view The City Hall is characterized by:
- the complex archaeological heritage (mausoleums, catacombs, towers and basilicas) mostly from the imperial period;
- the important historical heritage (among which is the one related to the resistance to Nazi-fascism);
- the heritage of wall art (Street Art) visible in several neighborhoods (Quadraro, Centocelle, Pigneto and Tor Pignattara);
- the very rich intangible cultural heritage of traditions, knowledge, festive and performing events.
