The Church of the Blessed Immaculate Virgin of Oschiri, built in the early 20th century, is an important religious and cultural landmark for the local community. Completed in 1907 and consecrated in 1915 by Bishop Carmelo Cesarano, the church is dedicated not only to the Blessed Immaculate Virgin, but also to St. Joseph and St. Demetrius, as recorded in a commemorative epigraph. The architectural structure has a simple façade, characterized by a tripartition, with trachyte pilasters and three oculi, three fornixes and three portals that give it a majestic but sober appearance.
Two towers stand on either side of the façade, one with the clock and the other with the bell tower. The church was built to replace the old, dilapidated structure and overlooks a granite square, making it a symbol of devotion and identity for the village.
