An attempt has been made to reconstruct what might have been an old pharmacy, potecarìa, villacidrese: the shelves come from the old Farmacia Fanni and so does much of the equipment used to prepare most medicines. The reconstruction of the old Villacidrese pharmacy is complemented by a small galenical laboratory and a collection of old chemical laboratory instruments. Also housed in the Farmamuseum is a fine collection of antique aerosols, an interesting collection of enteroclysms, a small collection of scales from the 1600s onward, one of clinical thermometers (the oldest from the early 1800s), a collection of mortars, three so-called “travel apothecaries” (the oldest of which dates back to the late 1700s), and a small but interesting library.
