The oil museum owned by Dr. Giorgio Zampa, is located in the main street of Cuglieri, at No. 68 Corso Umberto I. It stands in the building occupied since 1937 by an oil mill belonging to the same Zampa family. A portion of the museum is dedicated precisely to learning about the various stages related to the processing of olives to produce oil. Organized on two floors, thanks to the rich collection of machinery and various objects, it also offers an opportunity to learn about and reconstruct other aspects of the tradition and farming civilization of the past, showing working tools now unknown to new generations. It is an important testimony to how olive cultivation has distinguished this area for centuries.
