Archaeological Restoration Laboratory

The blockhouse is located at the entrance to the village.
It houses the offices of the scientific management of the “Genna Maria” Park and Museum, a library specializing in archaeological texts, a projection and meeting room, the laboratory for the restoration of artifacts and the laboratory for osteological studies.
In addition to being used by in-house staff, the facility can also be used by scholars from the rest of Italy and abroad, who are provided with spaces and tools suitable for their own research.
In addition, schoolchildren are offered ceramic restoration and reproduction activities, workshops on geology and on the knowledge of human evolution through the ages.
