Also known as Sa fraigada, the tomb of the giants of Barrancu Mannu rises west of the rio Baccu Mannu, on top of a hill. The village was likely further downstream, protected in many places by cyclopean defensive walls. The monument is of the “row” type: the plan is divided into a main apsidal body 20 m long housing the truncated ogive-covered burial chamber, and an arched exedra with a maximum width of 14.61 m, the arms of which extend from the sides of the facade. In the facade, preserved for almost 5 m, the cupola in the center of the lintel stands out. The cover of the chamber and the masonry technique of rows of hewed boulders indicate, in the absence of excavations, a hypothetical date to the late stages of the Middle Bronze Age (1400- 1300 B.C.).
