Municipal Palace

The building was built in the early twentieth century in classical forms and, in the past, was the site of the old Elementary School and home to the Library, which still retains elements of the old building.
The rooms that currently house the council chamber and the office of the local municipal police housed the old Market.
Because of its location in the center of the town, the building was a meeting place and a place of communication among citizens: from the same premises “Su bandu” was in fact issued, used mainly by vendors until the 1960s to inform the population about the products at the market and often also for communications, from the authorities, about important events in the town.
