The building complex commonly known as the former Falchi blockhouse, occupies an area of about 900 square meters.
The intended use was, perhaps, that of tavern since Via Bosa, in 1869, was called “vico Osteria.”
From the municipal archives it appears that in these premises, a certain Gavino Falchi from Cagliari implanted a workshop in 1907 for processing cement, tiles, slabs for steps and the like.
This is why it is known today as the “Falchi Blockhouse.”
The reuse of the space took place in a very incisive way, leaving tangible signs of the production activity that took place there, confirmed by the discovery of various equipment machinery used in the manufacture of artifacts.
Today the building, duly renovated, has become a multipurpose center.
