The Municipal Library established in 1981 is housed in the Umbertine-style building of the old Elementary Schools built in 1912 and renovated by the municipal administration in 1992.
It is named after Monsignor Agostino Saba a distinguished fellow citizen of great intellectual stature who wrote many books on the history of the church and the popes.
The Municipal Library has about 12,000 volumes and is equipped, in addition to the normal sections of Fiction and Nonfiction, with a rich and articulate section for preschoolers, for children, a specific section on Sardinia, and the new section dedicated to the Media Library.
In addition to the normal activity of consulting and lending books, the Library organizes reading animation meetings for children throughout the year.
