Pani House

The building was donated to the City of Monserrato in 1996 by Angelina Pani in memory of her brother Salvatore. The city administration has provided for the renovation of the house, which is now partially completed. Currently the completed part is open as a Day Care Center for the elderly, as per the donor’s wishes. The house is Campidanese style, with the bedroom reflecting the Sardinian style of the early 1900s. The association Laboratorio – time and space chose it as the setting for the exhibition of Sardinian costumes and traditional artifacts. “History would be doomed to be lost in silence if the narrative of memory did not extend beyond Time and Space, along the narrative lo unraveled in the work.”
