Casa Cugurra, built on Rome Street with an open layout on the street justified by its peripherality at the time, is characterized by a singular construction built in two stages that shifts from neo-Baroque references to ceramic and colored grit decorations with a modernist matrix. The first part, built at the end of the 19th century, has lively decoration in the main architraved entrance with a lunette resting on pilasters. Decorative stuccoes are also present in the body re-entering the garden, where architectural elements inspired by the Baroque facade of Sassari Cathedral can be admired: busts, medallions and statues depicting illustrious men.
