It is a large two-story building purchased by the city in early 2009. Risale early 20th century and the well-known Mereu family lived there.. The building is made of unfired earth bricks (ladiri) and bears the “palazzetto” model (a Palattu), much in vogue among the wealthiest families of the time, adorned with the floral style typical of the Liberty. The entire structure occupies an area of 230 square meters, and numerous decorative elements can be seen inside, such as the paintings in the suspended ceilings and the forging of the wrought-iron staircase railing, as well as the colored concrete tiles. In remembrance of the profession of the owner of the house, a well-known doctor in the area, the first floor room used as an outpatient clinic can be appreciated. Currently the house has become a major Center of Gastronomic Excellence.
