Tomb of the Giants and Nuraghe Nieddio

The monument is the best preserved for its type among those in the Ovodda area. Of the tomb built according to the isodomic technique, the entrance can still be glimpsed. A partially buried notched ashlar can still be identified in front of it, which was originally intended to be located above the entrance itself. On the floor plan, the footprint of the burial chamber can still be recognized to be about 7.30 m long. The ‘entrance to the tomb is highlighted by a wide exedra of which only the right side is almost entirely recognizable.

A short distance from the tomb is another monument that, from some construction features and plan elements, could be called a protonuraghe. The monument rises above a vast granite outcrop, which has been affected by caving actions that have partially eroded it, making it difficult to fully understand the monument and causing damage phenomena to it. The monument has a southeast-facing entrance and is affected by an extensive collapse along the southeastern sector.
