Print shop and woodcut workshop of Giovanni Dettori

The Giovanni Dettori Woodcut Workshop is a creative center, print shop and exhibition space founded by the artist engraver and draftsman trained at the Sassari Academy of Fine Arts. Using ancient techniques such as drypoint and woodcut, Dettori fits into the Sardinian engraving tradition. The workshop has hosted art projects with Italian and foreign artists, also involving students. In 2023, together with Academy students, Dettori created “EightHands,” the world’s largest woodcut (3.60 m x 2.50 m), dedicated to the Turritan Martyrs.
