In Vittorio Emanuele Square is the elementary school consisting of two buildings, the main one inaugurated in 1935 consisting of 12 classrooms and the other with 8 classrooms more recently, with a shared courtyard.
Since 1972 the school has been named after Capt. Maj. John Leccis MOVM, who fell on the Tobruk Front in 1942.
