Michele Ruzittu Civic Museum

The tour inside the Michele Ruzittu Civic Museum begins with a video presentation of the history and geomorphology of the area. The exhibition space is organized into three main rooms on two floors to which a small educational space dedicated to children is added.

Room 1, “From the Neolithic to the Roman Period,” is equipped with a touch screen table that offers visitors information about individual exhibits.

Room 2 is entirely dedicated to the Nuragic village La Prisgiona with the display of symbolic artifacts from the Nuragic age, such as the large decorated vase found in the meeting hut. To extend the content, an interactive mat is available that shows the site plan and reconstruction with details of the activities carried out by the ancient inhabitants in daily life.

Room 3, on the second floor, is set up with the mineralogical exhibition and temporary exhibitions that often feature works by great masters of art.
